Fall is the perfect time to make your living room feel warmer and more inviting, without turning every surface into a pumpkin display.
These ideas include everything from one candle on a side table to layered mantel and TV styling, with plenty of neutral looks for rooms that already have a calm feel.
Start with one naturally noticeable spot, then stop while the space still feels comfortable to use, because a throw, a few branches, or a tray may be all you need.
Seasonal TV Area
In the living room, a fall landscape on the TV screen creates a seasonal focal point without needing wall additions. A pale console and other simple surrounding pieces help maintain the room’s calm feel.
A quiet autumn scene can set the mood for movie night or a visit from friends. Afterward, switch off the usual screen and let the seasonal display remain the focus.
With other decor kept to a minimum, leave the area beneath the TV fairly open. That clear surface helps the screen stand out more prominently.
